The Brittain family farm sits on a 150 acre homestead in Forest Glen , There is wood road that goes over 2.5 kms in the woods. The Hunting camp is back near the end of the property. We intend to do some needed repairs to allow for overnight guest to enjoy this tranquil rustic hunting camp. The Hunting camp is 100 years old and was used for decades by the Brittain family, my father Harold Brittain was a hunting guide for 3 generations of hunters from the New England states. Their annual trek to Nova Scotia was a special time of year for them, they loved the peace and quiet.

We are Forest Glen Adventures, we are located 25 miles / 40klms from the town of Yarmouth, where the Cat Ferry from Maine lands. We are located in Yarmouth County.

A half-hour drive you’re in historic Weymouth, explore shipbuilding and The Electric city at a small museum at Sissiboo Landing. We are also half-hour from some amazing beaches on the Bay of Fundy Mavilette Beach is stunning
We are Forest Glen Adventures our 150 acre homestead property is ready to explore , we have a road that goes back 3 klms., 4 walking paths around 1/2 klm each to explore local flora wild mushrooms, and Foraging for fresh berries when in season.

Great dry camping spots that are totally private are available . We also have places to pull in for the night and unwind. We are off grid as far as cell phones go unless you are the back of our property. Wifi available at the log house I recommend getting wifi calling if possible.
We are located in the located in the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere and Mi’kmaq Lands and Acadian Skies Starlight Preserve.

We have 2 Bunkies on the property

Meadow Brook Camp a small 8×10 rustic cabin built near the brook. There are 2 campcots , 2 lawn chairs and a BBQ onsite as well as a composting potty.

The Gazer A cabin with a deck overlooking the viewing area. Comfy Futon , lawn chairs , 0 gravity chairs, a BBQ , portable potty

We also offer back woods camping, there aer many spots on our 3.5klm of roads that would make an ideal spot for tenting, camping for the night.

Yes the Skies will be dark !

There are fire pits for evening campfires. It’s a perfect spot to watch the night sky.
